Create macros in Excel without knowing of VBA programming

Can I create a macros in Excel document, when I don't know the Visual Basic for Applications programming language ?

Yes, there is an option to create a marco in Excel without knowing VBA. The method is called macro recording. To record a macro, you need to have Developer ribbon displayed. You can enable the ribbon by going to Options and in the Customize Ribbon section, checking the Developer box:



When you have the Developer ribbon displayed, click on Record Macro:



Before recording of macro, you may consider to use absolute or relative reference. By default, Excel records macros in absolute mode.
