Difference between Huawei and Honor - does Huawei own Honor ?

Hi, is there a difference between Huawei and Honor ? Is Honor owned by Huawei ?

Honor was owned by Huawei in the past. Some of their mobile phones were similar. But now Honor has a new owner. The brand was acquired by Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co. It was sold the most probably because of the sanctions on Huawei.
