Do meeting attendees need to give permission to record a call ?

Hi,
If I would like to record a video call via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, do meeting attendees need to give a permission ? Can I record the call without their consent ?

User can give 2 types of consent:

Explicit consent - user have to confirm he agree with something. For example, in displayed pop-up, user have to confirm that he agrees with call recording, by clicking on "Yes".

Implied consent - is a consent granted by user's actions. For example, user can see the notification, that call is recorded. If he stays on the call, he agrees with recording.

If you need a consent from meeting attendees to record video call or voice call, depends on what jurisdiction is applied (the law of which country is applied).

Some countries may not require to use an explicit consent for this purpose. But some countries may have restrictions related to using of implied consent.
