Does Apple use Intel and AMD processors in MacBook laptops ?

What processors do MacBook laptops have ? Does Apple use standard CPUs from Intel and AMD, or do they have their own processors ?

Apple was using their own processors and Motorola processors before MacBook release. The first generation of MacBooks was released in 2006. Since that time MacBook laptops are powered by Intel processors. There was no MacBook with AMD CPUs, but in case of some recent MacBooks, the AMD Radeon graphics cards are used.

There were some articles about Apple's plans, to use their own processors instead of Intel CPUs in Macbook laptops in the near future.
