Excel formula to add new row or column ? Insert new row in table

Hi,

What excel formula should I use to add a new row or column to the specific position ?

For example: I need to add a new row after the 5th row in a table.

You can't create a new row or column in Excel by using a formula.

To insert a new row or column, you have to use a macro (Visual Basic code). Macro can create a new row or column in your excel sheet or table.
