How to disable automatic silent updates on Android ?

Is it possible to disable automatic silent updates on Android phones or tablets ? These updates start often after I get connected to the internet using mobile data.

Some silent updates can't be disabled. They start automatically when phone is connected to the internet, even if automatic updates are turned-off in the settings.
