How to set fingerprint authentication to unlock an iPhone ?

How can I set the fingerprint authentication on iPhone instead of using the face scan ? Does iPhone have a fingerprint sensor ?

On iPhones, fingerprint authentication is called Touch ID. But unlike Android phones, new iPhone models don't have a fingerprint scanner. Because of that, new iPhones don't support a fingerprint authentication, but they have a face recognition instead, called Face ID.
