Invite external users to join Skype for business meeting - Outlook

Can I invite external users with standard Skype to join Skype for business conference call meeting ? Will they be able to connect when I send them Outlook invitaion ? Should it work ?

Hi,

To join the Skype for Business conference call meeting, there is an invitation link needed. You should include external users into invitation email and they should receive a link to join the meeting. There is a Skype for Business web app available online, that allows to join the meeting, using the web browser.

When email recipient clicks on received link and doesn't have a Skype installed, the browser window opens and user can join the meeting.
