Microsoft Firewall

Microsoft Firewall is the part of Microsoft Defender. Firewall blocks unauthorized network traffic flowing into or out of the local device. You should keep firewall enabled on your computer.

Antivirus is a more complex software used to prevent, detect and eliminate viruses and malware. Some antiviruses may have their own firewall.

For a better protection, it is recommended to use both Firewall and Antivirus.
