Is Intel for sale ? Who is going to buy Intel ?

Hi, is Intel for sale ? If yes, who is going to buy it ? There were some rumors that a couple of companies are interested in buying Intel. Have someone placed a bid ?

According to some sources, there was a potential interest in buying Intel from Qualcomm and Broadcom. But there was no serious offer submitted.

Intel is the company with high potential, but not many companies can buy it. Even though Intel stock price has dropped to 20 USD, the company is quite big. It has around 100 000 employees and market capitalization around 100 billion USD.

I would say if Intel is going to be sold, it will be sold to some US company. I don't think that Intel can be really sold to some non-US company.
