Mediterranean sea temperature in May,June,July. Is water warm enough?

What is an average water temperature in Mediterranean sea in May,June,July? Is the water warm enough for swimming?

The temperature of Mediterranean sea peaks in July and August.

In June, depending on the weather, the water can be warm.

But I definitelly wouldn't say that Mediterranean sea is warm in May.

Depending on the weather, the Mediterranean sea can be quite warm also in the September. At least in the first half of September, the sea water is almost as warm as in August.
