Removing the bottom navigation bar may depends on Android version or specific phone model. You can disable bottom navigation bar by turning on the gesture navigation. So instead of classic bottom buttons Back, Home and Switch apps, you will be able to use your phone by gestures like swipe up from the bottom of the screen, swipe from the left or right edge of the screen.

To disable the bottom navigation bar on Android phone:

1. Go to Settings
2. Then to Display
3. Choose Navigation bar
4. Switch from Navigation buttons to Full screen gestures
5. You can also modify other related settings in this section

Or you can alternatively try this solution:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on System
3. Then on Gestures
4. Choose System navigation
5. Switch to Gesture navigation
