Can I transfer files between Android phone and iPhone via USB-C flash drive ? Is it going to work ?

Yes, at some circumstances, you can transfer files between Android phone and iPhone via USB flash drive. You can use USB-C flash drive or alternatively USB-A flash drive with USB-C adapter.

But before you transfer the files, you have to check what storage format does the USB flash drive have.

There are many storage formats available. Your USB flash drive may use the NTFS formatting on default. You can change the storage format of USB flash drive on your PC. Please mind that change of storage format of flash drive will delete all data stored on it.

Android phones support mostly FAT32 or exFAT formatting. While iPhones support mostly APFS, exFAT or FAT. So probably the best what you can do, is to format your USB flash drive to exFAT. The advantage of exFAT is, that it allows to transfer files larger than 4GB.

From my experience, Android devices work with USB flash drives a bit better than iPhones.
