Use Micro SD card in adapter as SD card ? Number of pins difference

Hi,
Is there a difference between SD card and micro SD card ? Can I use a Micro SD card in adapter as a SD card in camera slot ?

Is it all right that there is a difference in the number of pins ? SD card has 9 pins, but Micro SD card has only 8 pins.

Micro SD card inserted in SD adapter can be used just as a regular SD card.

Even though these memory cards have different number of pins, they should work well with your camera.
