What coffee should I use for a cappuccino ? Is better arabica or robusta coffee ?

Cappuccino is an espresso-based coffee drink. Espresso can be made from any type of coffee beans. So there can be used Arabica beans, Robusta beans or mix of Arabica and Robusta, which is also known as the coffee blend.

Depending on your preference, you can make arabica cappuccino, robusta cappuccino or something between them. Arabica coffee is in general more popular than robusta. Because of that, an espresso is usually made from 100% Arabica coffee or from Arabica and Robusta blend, where the percentage of Arabica beans is dominant.

To make a cappuccino, you have to use arabica coffee or coffee blend with dominant amount of arabica.

Arabica is better for cappuccino, because it has tender and smooth flavor.
