Why is cursor moving when using arrows - direction keys ?

Why is cursor moving when I am using arrows - direction keys on my laptop with Windows ? How to prevent it ?

Cursor can move when using arrow keys because:

• Control of the mouse with keypad feature is turned on. To check if this feautre is active in Windows, you have to go to the settings and search for Ease of access, Mouse settings or Mouse keys.
• Problem caused by other software - this can be sometimes caused by MS Paint, especially if application is opened in multiple windows. To stop moving cursor when using arrow keys, try to close all MS Paint windows or restart your computer.
