Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG format on phone or windows PC

Hi, how can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG format on phone or windows PC ? What is the best application to convert HEIC images to JPG format ?

There are many applications for converting HEIC to JPG image format. You can use for example iMazing. But you can also change the default file format for taken photos from HEIC to JPG. To change it, go to Settings > Camera > Formats and select Most Compatible.

iPhone should convert HEIC photos to JPG when copying them to a MAC or Windows PC. You can change this in Settings > Photos > Transfer to Mac or PC by selecting Automatic option. This should automatically transfer photos or videos in compatible format.
