Honor phones - is there a ban on Google Play services ?
Hi, does the ban on Google Play services apply also on Honor mobile phones ?
The ban on Huawei was applied when they were an owner of Honor brand, so it also had an impact on Honor phones. For example Honor 30 Pro with Android 10 doesn't have Google Play Services. But now, Huawei is no longer the owner of Honor brand, so I expect the new Honor owner will attempt to lift the ban.
It looks there will be some changes for Honor smartphones. Honor V40 will reportedly be the first Honor phone to have Google Play services again. The phone should be released soon.
