How does Eye comfort shield (Blue light filter) work & look like ?

How does the Eye comfort shield / Blue light filter work on Android ? How does it look like ?

Blue light filter feature was renamed to Eye comfort shield. Both can be found in the Settings > Display

Eye comfort shield is a feature that reduces blue light by using a warmer filter on your device's screen.

After you enable Eye comfort shield, the colours will become warmer, the contrast will be a bit lower, the screen will get a bit darker with a slightly yellow tint.

The difference between the screen with enabled and disabled Eye comfort shield is not so big on the photos:

Eye comfort shield is a filter, reducing the blue light by adjusting the color temperature of the screen. It uses warm colours, decreases the contrast and makes the screen a bit yellow.

The Eye comfort shield mode doesn't look very nice, but it is more comfortable for your eyes.

You can use Eye comfort shield when reading a text. If you watch YouTube videos or movies with eye comfort shield enabled, the colors don't look nice.

Using of eye comfort shield is recommended in a low light conditions.
