Even though both iPhone and Android phone have a bluetooth built-in, it is not possible to use it for a file transfers between these two devices.

You can't directly send files via bluetooth from iPhone to Android phone or vice versa, because their bluetooth technologies are not compatible.

iPhones and Android phones use different bluetooth profiles.

You can send files via bluetooth between two iPhones or between two Android phones.

You can't transfer files from iPhone to Android phone via bluetooth.

To send files from iPhone to Android phone, you have the following options:

Transfer data with a cable - this option doesn't require an internet connection. You need a Lightning to USB-C cable or USB-C to USB-C cable if you have iPhone 15 or higher version.

Transfer data over Wi-Fi - this requires both phones to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. It can be used to send only some file types, like photos, videos, contacts and calendar events etc.

Transfer data via email - this requires an internet connection. It is a simple and fast way how to send files, but there are size limits on file attachments, so you can send only a files that have a few megabytes. You should mind the limits on attachment size. Email services usually have limits on sent and received attachments. For example: one email provider allows to send an email with 25 MB attachment, but another email provider allows to receive attachments up to 20 MB.

Transfer data via online file storage or online sharing platforms - this requires both phones to have an internet access. Online file storages or sharing platforms offer to transfer much larger files than regular email services. The files can have a couple of gigabytes. You upload the files to online storage from one phone and download them with the second phone.
