Is firewall active in Windows after antivirus trial has expired ?

Is firewall in Windows active after antivirus trial version has expired ? How can I check if it i enabled ? I have seen a note, that antivirus is managing the firewall.

Windows firewall settings can be managed by antivirus software. In Windows 11, you can check if firewall is enabled in:

Settings > Privacy & security > Windows security > Firewall & network protection

You can check the firewall status for Domain network, Private network and Public Network.

Alternatively you can go to: Control panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall

If your firewall is managed by antivirus, you should see a notification, that these settings are being managed by vendor application.

If firewall stays active after your antivirus has expired, depends on what antivirus software do you use.

You have to check the current firewall status in Windows settings or in antivirus settings.

But I expect that, if antivirus is managing your firewall, it will most probably keep it active after the trial version has expired.
